BAC in the Community
In 1990, BAC became the first group in Wake County to participate in Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child, carrying 300 shoeboxes to Boone, NC. Each year since, BAC prays for ways to share what we have learned and serve the Lord by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of our community and abroad.
Along with systematic Bible study, BAC provides an opportunity to participate in annual mission outreach projects as a way for our class to corporately apply what we have learned in very practical ways. Over the years, BAC has partnered with local and global organizations including Raleigh Rescue Mission, Urban Ministries of Wake County, and Samaritan’s Purse as well as others. We have been blessed to witness God’s faithfulness as we provided food, clothing, medical supplies, Bibles and Christmas gifts to people from the mountains to the coast of North Carolina, as well as Russia, China, and Israel.
